Playback singer, Sithara Krishnakumar is all excited about the upcoming song from the film 'Thottappan.' Sithara took to her social media handle to announce about the song. The upcoming Vinayakan starrer movie 'Thottappan' has announced to release its first lyrical song today. Sithara has also sung two lines from the upcoming song. The two lines sung by Sithara, starting "Pranthankandal" is already exciting. The singer herself has reassured that the song will stay in all music lovers playlist.

Vinayan starrer 'Thottappan' is all set to hit theatre screens by the first week of June. The upcoming movie directed by Shanavas K Bavakutty of 'Kismath' fame is based on the novel by Francis Noronha. Vinayakan will play the titular character Thottappan while debutant actress Priyamvada will play the female lead in the film. Devadas Kadancheri and Shailaja Manikandan are bankrolling the project.

Even though the film is based on the novel, the director has said that he will add his own interpretation. PS Rafeeque has crafted the script for the movie. Suresh Rajan has cranked the camera while Jithin Manohar has handled the editing department. Leela L Girish Kuttan will score the film that is reportedly about the beautiful bond between a father and his daughter. Actor Roshan Mathews will be seen playing an important role as well along with actors Lal, Manoj K Jayan, and Raghunath Paleri.
